The Microgeneration Certification Scheme was established to ensure quality and control of both products and the installation of renewable technology. The company is assessed annually to ensure it operates in line with the guidelines and standards. Part of the assessment is to ensure that all insurances are up to date and quality management procedures are followed. All installers must be MCS accredited in order for consumers to gain access to feed-in tariffs.
National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers runs an electrical competent person scheme to ensure that all work is carried out safely and is signed off the local authority. Going Green Renewables is inspected annually to maintain membership.
The Renewable Energy Consumer Code is in place to make certain we follow correct sales practices and quote accurate figures to consumers. The Code is in place to protect the consumer and is a pre-requisite to MCS membership. Click here for their Website
